Training in the methods and practice of Complex Adaptive Systems Anthropology (CASA) requires pre-requisite completion of SCD training.
It comprises the following additional areas:
- Advanced analysis and partitioning of universal cultural patterns, including parallax view, extrapolation, and analogical reasoning
- Acter-Observer theory, role-switching, and practice in Vesting-Framing-Outcom (VFO) methods
- DAT field techniques, including scenarios, boundary provocation, role cloaking, and empirical consolidation
- Post-facto modeling, scenario development, pattern extraction, and partitioning
- Simulation and testing
Following training, the trainee will be certified as an SCD/CASA Modeler.
Advanced workshops and real-world practice enable an Observer to be certified at higher levels of professional capability, including Coach.
